Hope's Story

Hope is an albino pinkbelly sideneck turtle born with an extremely rare deformity that caused her heart to be exposed. The odds were stacked against her but Mike Aquilina took her in his care giving her the chance that she deserved. Through hard work, love, and dedication Hope has not only survived, but thrived and is already approaching her second birthday. This week we celebrate her in an attempt to spread Hope to kids and animals facing the seemingly impossible. No matter what the circumstances, don’t give up, have Hope, spread Hope!
